The sessions may include learning to draw trees, landscape sketching, and drawing from your imagination.
Founded in 1927, the Grolier Poetry Book Shop has a storied history. It was once frequented by poets like David Ferry, Robert Pinsky, and Seamus Heaney. Today, the shop continues to promote the written and spoken art of poetry. Visitors can also enjoy poetry readings, and the clearance section offers a great way for you to discover new-to-you poets at a low price. Grolier Poetry Book Shop is currently open Wednesday through Friday between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Founded more than 65 years ago, Charlie's Kitchen is a fifties-style diner known for its double cheeseburgers. It also features the "best jukebox in Cambridge" and offers weekly entertainment like live music and the Sunday night trivia pub quiz. For dinner, enjoy the double cheeseburger with sea salt and cracked pepper fries and a pint of Harpoon IPA. Charlie's Kitchen is open late into the night, with last call 30 minutes before closing.
